- Romaine lettuce, chopped
- Dressing: anchovies or paste, garlic, lemon, Dijon, Worcestershire, egg yolk or mayo, olive oil, Parmesan
- Croutons; more Parmesan; black pepper
Steps
1. Mash anchovy and garlic; whisk with lemon, Dijon, Worcestershire, yolk/mayo; stream in oil; add Parmesan.
2. Toss romaine with dressing.
3. Top with croutons, Parmesan, and pepper.
